In Polevsko, here everything is born from the idea, design to glass decoration. The traditional North Bohemian glassworks were founded in 1907 by Karl Mühlbauer and named after his wife Clara. The factory is located in the glassmaking village of Polevsko near Novy Bor in the protected landscape area of the Lusatian Mountains.

Originally, it produced mainly silver, ruby and laminated glass. The current dominant feature of Ave Clara is silver glass and in recent years this picturesque glassworks has shown itself to the whole world as a reliable producer and supplier not only of flat glass but also of hand-blown glass. The numerous collaborations and designs with famous foreign companies and designers proves that the factory is building a worldwide reputation. Crystal, crystalline glassware is melted here, including 20 different sodium-potassium-calcium modern colored glassware.

Ave Clara's clients include Bocci, Roll and Hill, Nick Munro, Konstal and Pieter Adam Studio.
